Translation into Chinese of The Oral Tradition of Yangzhou Storytelling, Nordic Institute of Asian Studies Monograph Series, No.73, Curzon Press, Richmond, 1996. The translation is supported by the Danish Research Council for the Humanities and the Danish Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities. The work is an updated and supplemented version of the original in English. The book aims at the large Asian scholarly community where Chinese is the standard academic language. The publication of the Chinese edition is made possible in part through a grant from S.C. Van Foundation (Daloon Foundation), Denmark.
