In the evening, the master and his disciples lodge at the farm of Old Mr. Yang. At night, Young Yang (one of the bandits) returns home, discovers the pilgrim monks, and wants to avenge the bandit leaders. When Monkey kills the bad son, Young Yang, the Tang Priest reprimands Monkey and expels him.
