The Old Lady of Mount Li [Guan Yin] passes by and tells them the background of the she-devil, instructing them to ask the Star Officer of the Pleiades for help. The Star Officer of the Pleiades kills the she-devil and rescues the Tang Priest, and they all continue on the trip to the west. On their way, they encounter some bandits, and Monkey kills the bandit leaders. A conflict arises between the master and his disciples.
